Nice move from AMD! I would love to upgrade my desktop PC this year and AMD architecture is the way to go these days with Intel abandoning their customers in crisis.

Yes, moving from 14nm to 12nm process which will probably coincide with clock increases.

There's a stock shortage currently as AMD is pushing out the last wave of chips before the refresh. We don't have enough time for these price cuts to make a difference to us, because the second generation of Ryzen processors lands in April.
