Oh no! That means I'll have to quit my Jaunty testing and go back to XP. I wonder when this update is going to happen?
 
Another reason why Windows 7 should be FREE - it will go a long way towards users being less unhappy about all the bandwidth consumed by these regular 'updates'.

My XP harddrive failed on me a few months back and had to do a reinstall...and I have one of the ORIGINAL OEM XP disks :(
XP install --> SP1 --> SP2 --> SP3 (what a ruddy mission !!! )

You should have made a new slipstreamed install disk with nLite way back when you still had all the SPs on your HD.
 
i ponder what was broken.... but i guess is best not to ask.
