Biggest and most expensive TVs in SA

I'll wait until they come down to ~R10K.But..*sigh* we will be talking 10K ultra, ultra high definition and 150-200 inch screens.I'LL NEVER CATCH UP!!!

Dont get the point when we still have SD quality offerings and few HD offerings.

I was in the US last year this time and there the 84inch tv's were selling for less than 5k USD. Was probably just HD though

Download a few movies in 1080p with full 5.1 and run it over a 55 inch Samsung and you'll get the point.

I will never throw my money down the drain. It's better to buy stuff at the margin of diminishing returns, as you get a great product and the satisfaction of knowing it was a smart buy. If I was buying a television right now I'd get the 55" HiSense Smart 3D LED for R10k.

If you can afford a TV like that, you don't need to watch SD content, just have all the stuff you watch delivered to your door and have your workers set up the system so you can just enjoy it ;)

I still have some empty wall space in my living room where one of these would be a nice addition too...

R5k is seriously budget for a TV, unless it's a secondary set for playing games or your man cave. R10k is a fair limit to place on a TV purchase.

You probably are right.

I just thought of some specials at some distributor located in Midrand. BUT, I will probably end up getting a TV from them only capable of watching the old BOP TV.
