Hey guys just a small question, does anybody know of anywhere cheaper than PC Int??? I really like their prices and the quality of products they difficult to beat BUT their services and attitude of staff is terrible, I honestly hate dealing with them, you spend over 10 grand and you dont get a smile, I wish i could support some1 else who actually appreciate their customers. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread hope no feelings are hurt...

Dealing with them over the phone and email only I actually got pretty good service, but you get the impression that they are pretty disinterested and giving the minimum required. Luckily that's okay over the internet..

I don't think there are (m)any places cheaper than them overall, but a few online shops will often get better prices on imported items and specials.

You could look at the usual bunch like prophecy, landmarkpc, sybaritic, computersonly, digitaladdiction etc etc.

I have neva recieved a reply from their email [email protected], maybe Im just unlucky but thanks for those stores, will be checking them before any buying

Oh and take2.co.za while they can be more expensive sometimes, they're selection is great.

I've also never received an email reply from them... Take2 has great service, but their prices are generally a bit above average.

Bought from them a couple of times. Never had an issue and their prices are vewy good.

If you want to communicate to their sales person directly by email, try edmund (at) icon.co.za. Very helpful and responsive from my experience.

This is who I dealt with as well, I'm sure I got my reply from [email protected] though. But after that Edmund was pretty good.

Don't know about helpful though, he doesn't really make much effort to find you alternative products as they don't have much of a range on their pricelist. Phoning would probably be better for that.

Ya but you see my complaint is the lack of service, the unfriendlyness, no interest is shown etc etc etc, I just would prefer to support some1 else, wen buy from them they make me feel like they doing me a favour, wen i bought my screen for 2300, i stood and waited for the guy at the till for literally 10mins waiting for him to finish typing an sms, i mean is that necessary? They have attitude and it just annoys me.

I feel for you.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that the chappie at the till was very uninterested in what he is doing. It's almost like you're bothering him. I also spent a few thousand at that their shop and also did not get the expected 'friendly treatment'. I honestly think he should go on a customer-service training course, or they should place someone else, someone more 'alive' at the tills.

Call me crazy or funny, in this day and age we tend to buy where we get service or that extra touch, and not where things are necessarily cheaper.

I have bought from them on a number of occasions and yeah they are not the friendliest bunch, but I walk in, get what a I need and walk out...I am always friendly to them and on occasion they have smiled once or twice. Bottom line is their prices are good and beats trying to get the stuff from Axiz or Rectron. Their customer service is lacking though I must admit. Problem is that if someone else can come into the market and offer just as good prices and a better level of service, well then bye bye Pc Int.

And thats the shop I'm looking for, who are PC Int's suppliers if any1 knows? I was the same walk in and walk out but now I've got a faulty card and dealing with them is a nightmare, and its made me think how slack they really have been over the last couple years I've been using them, but i am now tired of supporting them.

They aren't the friendliest bunch, granted. But I haven't really had bad service from them, though nothing exceptional either. I just like the low prices :p

Their service has been nothing if not incredibly average(and thats being generous) which is one of the reasons have they have lost out on my business a number of times. Maybe you should send them an e-mail link to this thread...so that maybe they catch a clue.....;)

I find their service ok.

Anyways their official addy is pcint at icon.co.za

Where'd you get that address? There website still and always has said [email protected], tried very recently again still no response, but as i said before I've neva recieved a reply so... But I feel a bit beta thought it was only me, being young, that i got no respect as a paying customer even if my 20 plus grand over years isn't enough neva mind me sending all my family and friends there cause of price and quality.
