Biker struck by lightning

Had a near miss as a kid in my childhood home. One of my earliest childhood memories - I think I was 4 or 5.
CB Radio was just becoming a in thing (No internet yet) and my brother and some buddies had fitted a impressive antenna to the roof a few days earlier.
That night there was a big thunderstorm, and I remember my mom calling my brother out of his room for supper and I remember walking up to a table next to the livingroom window - to get a glass of milk. Its strange, but I even remember the shape of the glass with two lines around it.
The next moment it just goes white in front of me and there is a loud explosion. Then it all turns dark as the power trips.
It later turned out that the lightning had forked, one part striking the antenna and blowing the radio up (Found part of the casing embedded in the ceiling), the other hitting a water pipe in the lawn right in front of me. About 5 meters away.
I'm still facinated with lighting. From a safe distance.
