Bill problems again!!!

Ok so here's the gist ........... my electricity deposit got bumped to R2950 (from R1900) and now they wanna cut me off for being R500 short on it. My questions is .... can they do that because my actually electricity bill is fully paid up. Man, I'm losing my mind here.

Thats a k@k one. Sounds like BS to me but how are you going to stop them from doing that?

Actually now taht I think about it I had a bill problem with the municipallity a few years ago.
Go down to their collection offices there should be a counter for payment arrangements (look for bench fulls of bored, pissed off people). March up to the counter and act like an indignant whitey and demand to speak to someone right away. Worked here I kid you not. Honestly its worth a try. Worst case scenario you'll have to agree to pay some now and the rest at the end of the month.
