By default I think you are i.e. when you completed online or telephonic application.

I'm gonna call in tomm. and try to cancel. Will let you know if I succeed.

I can only confirm that on Monday with the billing manager / billing system. From a CRM system point of view, you are on debit order and this indicates that the billing system will reflect the same.
