Hi all,

I've searched far and wide for some similar issues on the forum (and through google), but I'm coming up empty.

I have a Billion 400G router at home (only one I could get on account at the time) and I cannot enable the wireless lan without the whole router freezing up after a few hours. If I disable the wireless it runs perfectly.

Strange thing is that I thought it was a hardware issues, so I went to the Telkom shop and they gave me a new one (surprising actually). I thought this would solve my problem, but alas the same thing still happens. I'm starting to wonder if this is a hardware issue now, but what else could it be?

Has anybody had a similar problem before? If I go back to Telkom they just going to give me the same router. It also puzzles me that I cannot find this problem posted anywhere else on the entire internet.

The router already has the latest firmware installed and I have already tried to reflash the same version to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, Firmware upgrade should do the trick....had similar issue....- contact the supplier and let them mail the latest version firmware to you...the on eon their website is outdated.

Thanks I will try them and report back here.

I haven't received any word back from the vendor, but it seems this is not the problem. I am using a Cisco Linksys router now to test and the same thing is happening - I am guessing I have some serious wifi interference in my flat. I am doing some research now to try and remedy the problem. So I think you don't have to worry about this issues, its not router specific.

I think it's the weather. Pretty much everything freezes.
