Billion 5102 disconnecting constantly

Hey guys,
Was wondering if you guys could spread some light on a problem my friend is having, when his pc is connected to his router it disconnects every 5 minutes and has trouble synching with the exchange, but when he disconnects it works fine. Does anyone have any idea's what might be causing this? I thought it might be windows, but i can't see anything wrong with his network settings..

5102 firmware update! Maybe BillionSA forumite can also provide assistance ...

I thought of the firmware update, but it's brand new and loaded with the latest firmware...

Its a Telkom router. TAKE IT BACK. even if it is brand new
