Hi Everyone,

Just got a Billion 7202GR2, nice and easy to setup, and seems to work really well. The problem I have is this, I use NukeCaps PayVPN for WOW. Now I can connect to the VPN, but the problem is that even though I am connecting to the VPN, I get really bad lag and then it disconnects within a few minutes. If I connect without the VPN, I get bad lag, but it stays connected? Any ideas? I'm not sure if it is perhaps something I need to enable or disable within the router itself. The log file of the router says that everything seems to be fine. I have posted on NukeCaps forum, but no answer yet (apparently Clipse wasn't awake at 1:30 this morning :) ) Anyways, I thought one of you rocket scientists might have an idea.

Hi

Hi Mr Jones.

Can you please mail Billionsa.com and attach your telephone nr. We can then send you some new F/W that could help......

Hi,

I have been speaking to one of the guys at Billion and I have upgraded the router to the latest FW (1.07 as far as I know). I have played around and for now it seems to be the wireless security which is causing it to drop and reconnect all the time. Why? I really could not tell you. But the problem is this, I have a lot wireless home networks in my area, so not having wireless security is going to open me up to some trouble and the possibility of someone stealing my bandwidth, any suggestions?

Thanks

Ok well I can confirm now that it is not wireless security. In the standard configuration, it still gives me disconnection problems.

The Billion boys emailed me 1.09 the other day which sorted out a bunch of my issues. Maybe it'll help you too?
