Hi Guys,
We have a Billion BiPac 7402GX router, configured with LT2P VPN. We use Axxess Capped ADSL, with a Static IP option on the account.
We also use NAT on the device to forward incoming traffic to our Exchange Server and to allow remote desktop and VPN.
The device works brilliantly, for a few hours. Randomly the device would lose it's NAT table, and we have to use the following Telnet command to enter the NAT again.
"nat add resvmap map1 interfacename @ip_pppdevice16 192.168.1.150 tcp 443 443 443 443"
"system config save"
We are unable to add the NAT's via the browser interface, thus we use the Telnet option.
We have also upgraded and then downgraded the firmware to version 6, but to no avail.
We then decided it must be a router issue, and decided to buy a Zyxel P-2812HNU(L)-Fx router from Nology. We configured the device, and everything was working well.
Few hours later we started having issues again...
The Zyxel router works, but suddenly internet traffic stops... In the router connection status it shows the internet to be connected, however there is no traffic whatsoever.
The device has to be restarted, and then the connection is restored.
Any ideas? As this is driving us (and the client) mad.
