BIOS Password

Hi guys, a friend of mine gave me his pc to re-install windows and just re-do his whole pc, but his bios has got password protection enabled.
He doesn't know the password or where it came from, so :

Is there any way for me to get around a bios password?

yup... take the battery off the motherboard for awhile... used to work. else look for a bios reset jumper on the motherboard

Well first turn off the computer... don't want any electrocutions here

1. Open your friends case.
2. Look for the small battery on the Motherboard.
3. Remove it and leave it out for a good 2-5 mins.
4. Put the battery back in and close your case
5. Boot up the PC... The password should be gone =)
