Bioshock is boring...I'm sorry

I like Bioshock :)

What I found rather funny was flaming people, the screams are hilarious :)

The 5.1 feature sucks in comparison with Doom/Quake 4 since it shifts the whole enviromental area and not your position. For example, I hear radio playing infront of me, I turn around and it's dead silent, turn around again and I hear it.

You probably had eax enabled, bioshock uses eax 5.0 and only the XFI officially supports it, but there is a patch released for bioshock that fixes audio problems I believe.

I have Audigy 2. Played it with 5.1 sound and EAX enabled. No problems.

Must be a setting you missed. You have to set your card and the game to use 5.1 or it may cause problems.

Nothing I missed, the sound works 5.1 but it just sucks in comparison to other games (Doom 3, Quake 4, C&C Tiberium, etc.)

Doom 3 & Quake 4 sounded like you were running around in a large bathroom. But then again all the walls/floors was polished so much that it could have cause weird sound reverberations off them. :p

*bump*

i will give it another try over the w'end (maybe)
