Biostar 9600GT

Good day

I just want to ask about the brand, along with the card..

I heard that this brand was a good for motherboard, but what about GPU?

I think I might get it from this Site

the 9600 is an ok card. The brand while not the greatest it's also not the top of the line either.

If that's what your budget can afford, then ok.
 
I decided to put off getting a new card because today I got given an XFX 9600GT ..... I'll save and get a powerhouse early next year. But so far, the 9600GT is not shabby at all. If that's what you can afford, it will suit you fine on most new games, medium settings.

I'm a bit scared it is a scam because it is one of those online sales website.

So if possible just give me an opinion please? Would appreciate it alot! Especially those who stays in Pretoria. Because they said this shop is based in Pretoria.

Lol, Zaps is quite well known ..... not a scam. I've bought from there twice already.

But are there any comment for the graphics card because the manufacturer is Biostar? Because they usually makes motherboards...

Only with International bandwidth .... it grated me off the other day too when I was on local.
 
erm isnt the 9600 and 9800 in the same price range?
so 9800 would be better?
igot my club 3d 9800gt for R997 from sybaritic
 
Different brands basically means different warranties. I can't find out what the Biostar warranty is like. Probably 2 years. Asus and Gigabyte gfx card warranties are 3yrs, which is one reason why you pay more for them.

I'm sure the Biostar is fine, the one you linked to looks identical to some other brands, same cooler etc.
 
No no, the biostar 9600gt is going for R744 its turning out much cheaper than the 9800gt. and they got the same bit and memory. thats why i'm going for the 9600gt. it is also at the limit of my budget as well
 
i deal with one biostar supplier, they are normally pretty good if there are problems. In 3 years i've sent back one item.

Don't know what experience others have had & i also dont own any of their products.

While they are not rhe top of the line products, they do tend to out last some of the others on the same quality range.

Yes I have one it works very nicely.

In your Item, what did you buy? Because i know they make nice mobo, but I don't know GPU's...
