BIS working on and off today?

I am on contract. VSP. I just asked a colleague here if he had received any calls today and he checked and said no. He said he had tried to make one call earlier which failed. We then called his number from a landline and it also went straight to voicemail.

I called Fedcell up the road from us, and Veronica tells me that there is a major problem on the network in our area--since Tuesday, in fact. So it appears to be network related.

Edit: Haven't reached my call limit. Still have 200+ free minutes on my Talk 130.
 
I just phoned 082155 seems like the South of Joburg is experiencing problems - I am fortunate I can receive calls and make phone calls - connectivity problems none on myside - will check on twitter again for updates and keep u posted also check the vodacom forum - if u want I can phone vodacom and ask
 
@mjkelly - have a BB Storm 2 (9520) No issues thus far but it can't handle many apps, mine is loaded with them, had to delete some to free up space.
What I dislike is that when the phone is charging it locks and is quite a mission to get the home screem so I leave it alone during charge time.
Battery only last me almost a full day, just wish MTN can be as quick as Vodacom to release firmare updates, they 2 behind already and there is a new one in the pipeline.
The new fireware should sorts out the battery drain issues, I'll be very happy once that's done.
