So,

Like a lil' kid I went and got Assassins Creed 2, Forza 3 and Modern Warfare 2.

Was disappointed with AC 2, not worth all the hype. As for Forza 3, the ridiculous loading times are just a plain turn-off....loving CoD though

i think AC2 is awesome.. much better than nr1.

Haven't tried MW2 nor Forza 3.. still busy with AC2, i'll trade it in for one of those 2 once completed

I loved AC2 as well. Most of the issues from the first one seem to have been addressed. I wish it was a bit longer though.

I'm not far yet. haven't played too much either, probably about 5hrs in total, only made 2 assassinations so far.. how many play hours did you get out of it?

About 20 hours, but that's because I started doing a lot of the side quests as I was approaching the last assassination because I didn't want the story to end :D

I reckon the game can be done in about 10 hours if you just play through the main story.

10 hours?!! Man, and they sell the console version for like R699? ....not exactly value for money here.

Also set in the same era etc? Jerusalim etc?

No, it's set in the Renaissance era in Italy [16th century?] . Basically the Leonardo Da Vinci period.

So it plays off in cities like Florence/Venice/Milan [cobble stones, waterways , churches , italian].

Yeah that's my main gripe with both installments, they're just too short.

But judging from how it ended, there will almost certainly be a third game, so I'm hoping that will be longer.

Allot of games these days are short. The industry is obsessed with sequels so they make you hanker for more when you finish a title.

Also it justifies the DLC which you shell out for ... the joys of capitalism :D

On a different note I want to buy the new DJ Hero from Kalahari.net for myself.

Looks like a cool game. TBH, it has the type of music I'm into which helps :D

is metal gear out of x360?
I believe they got a license to bring out on microsoft platform now, didn't know if there is one out already

the ps3 1 and last 1. I thought the cinematics was just way 2 much and way 2 long

Agreed. The gameplay was kinda a let down after the lengthy cinematics - was more like watching a movie than playing a game. I mean everytime I just started enjoying it I landed up on a boss fight (where you always need to figure out what the trick is) - then another 30-60 min clip on a plane or something. The first one was awesome though!

As for AC2 - I'm holding out for the PC version...if it's anything like the first one (which I bought for the PS3 originally) then I'm bound to save a few hundred bucks and get additional content. Sadly most games are still better on the PC (and I keep it up to date just because I use it for so many other things too!).

U just get into actually playing and then ban 30-60 minute video and u sit and wonder when on earth you going to play again and it happens so often in the game that it becomes more of a chore than actually enjoying the game
