Can't win in this country, we don't have the capability to accommodate such stability. Wish we where as jacked as Europe. They operate like machines.
 
Hello Bitco.

You have one &*&%-off customer today. last night at 22:00 the network goes down. Restarted your kit a million times and still no service. This morning the same %^#%.

And ofcourse the best part of your ""service"" is that there is NO one that gives after hours support apart from the &^*$ing automatic email that gives you a ticket number and a message that says to phone the same number that is not answered if one has a critical fault

Let the browsing for a company with better support begin
 
Hi Guys

We had a direct lightning strike to one of our main distribution towers feeding the Airport, Boksburg, Edenvale and Benoni. We were alerted to the fault but we could not repair until this morning due to safety concerns.

All services are now back online.

We would like to appologise for any interruptions.

I had a feeling It might have been due to the lighting it was pretty bad last knight.

My speed is a little all over the place right now. Only receiving 7mbps on my 10mb link :(?

Wanted to find out something, does the wireless dish have an earth on it ?

I don't recall seeing an earth cable at all. Being as high as it is I'm sure the risk of a lightning strike is much higher. Without earth, the would be no chance of the kit surviving.

Mine definitely doesn't have a cable going to the ground, all I have is the cable coming from the dish to the POE injector.

I'm a bit concerned as we have had pretty bad lighting recently and with the dish bring as high as it is its a sitting target

Better then speak to Garth. Mine had it installed for sure. They might have missed it.
 
Guys please help. I was told my WiFi password was the router's IP on the box but it's not working. Or, am I doing something wrong?

No idea. Not home at that time. Kids are raping my poor connection during these holidays. Bought them Tablets and when I get home I'm throttled for sure. Just waiting till next week so I can upgrade the line to 10mbps.
