i tried the servers with a ping higher than 30 the few that's there with no luck, i can play 5 min then dc.

must be another problem then, Log a support ticket and see if they can help? Mine works fine but also disconnects randomly hope bitco can fix this
 
Anyone using Bitlord?

For some reason none of my torrents are downloading at all. I haven't used it in a while. Maybe it's Bitlord or is it this DPI thing now?

Nope sorry Pitbull. Haven't even heard of Bitlord before.

I've got a question though about the leaky bucket system. In my pictures above it showed that I did some downloads the previous evening and that it went to 2mb/s which is fine. Then the next evening I downloaded something with a limiter set at 2mb/s but it made no difference since my speed was lowered to 2mb/s anyways.

I was under the impression that the speed would only be lowered if I use my connection at full speed for about an hour. However my speed goes down to 2mb/s if I use my connection at 40% for 45 minutes. That just doesn't seem right.

Tbh, I have no idea. From what I've seen it seems that if you limit it, it just takes longer to reach throttle. As an example: 50% line speed would then mean you would reach it in 2 hours as opposed to 1 hours. Or 75% would be 1 hour 30 minutes and the likes. That's my understanding of it anyway.
 
Though it's more like at 100% you get throttled in less than an hour
 
Anybody in the Midrand area having connectivity issues? My link is down and when I look at the dish I cant see the orange light that is usually on.

I assume you already have, confirmation would be cool. I want to test it tonight.
 
I'd also like to try out Showmax. For the price it looks like an amazing service!

My wife is at home and she says the website is not available in your country. I hope it's her browser and not BitCo! Will check tonight.

Not using a DNS service for netflix? That could make you appear to be outside of za

I get about 4.8 on the speed test but recently i also noticed the connection being very bad

Youtube videos constantly buffer and everything is so sluggish, i can't even update apps from the apple app store it's so slow

Browsing seems fine but everything else is pointless
 
Anybody know how to get a speed log on a ddwrt router?

Natively it can plot the current speed as traffic goes through it, but I would like to go back and see when I was FUP'd.

I'm sure there must be an add on script or something for that.

I'm having the same problems :( unfortunately I don't have any other options :(
