Is anybody else having issues connecting to certain websites? On mobile data I connect without a problem to www.standardbank.co.za, through Bitco it times out with a DNS lookup error. Here is my traceroute

Thanks for the post, it looks like your traffic is taking a slightly different route out of South Africa.
You will find we have many routes globally over various undersea cable systems to ensure our network has the highest form of redundancy.
can i ask you to double check you are using the BitCo DNS on the device you have done this test, our standard DNS would be 41.79.80.34
by using this DNS your traffic would essentially take the shortest global route
you can also try ping the UK over USA you would find a difference by testing to www.bbc.co.uk

Using your DNS address I have the same problem.
I received a response from the support desk and it looks like my IP might be blocked on the IS network. I also cannot reach www.is.co.za.
Waiting to see how this can be resolved. Do you know how/why this happened?

Maybe apply now, think you can apply up until Friday the 9th taking their lead time into consideration you'll be moved in before they ready.

Thank you for the response.
I am using the BITCO DNS and when i did the cmd ping no other devices were connected to the router and the connection is via a LAN cable.
Please see another test below using the .co.uk ip.
As you can see not much difference, look im not bitching and moaning just an observation, which im sure you will agree with me, deserves some inspection!
The service in general is very good, however as per one of my previous posts i have noticed a bit of lag and rubberbanding in the multiplayer games,it pops its ugly head up every once and awhile, maybe related to the above?

BitCo DNS is broken for me since yesterday. I've switched to Google's DNS and now sites are loading again.

Unfortunately it was not fixed before the weekend. They replied to my email this morning though to say they know there's a problem and they are working on it. Man I hope they can get it fixed soon!
