Bitcoin mania rockets

Bitcoin bubble or just the beginning? Or both? Those are the questions being asked on Wall Street to Main Street after the digital currency breached $5,000 for the first time, pushing this year’s gains to more than fivefold.

Seen this before, this is the FOMO part where people take out mortgages to buy bitcoins..... right before the next huge correction.

We are heading towards $6800 (probably around R100k locally) as the next target, and after that the correction comes...

Personally I can't wait for it to come down, as then the money can start flowing to the altcoins

Figured out last night how to exchange my BCH for OMG and then put the new OMG in my Exodus wallet. If we get Bitcoin Gold I will exchange that also I think, but not sure for what. Not all that familiar with alt coins, but OMG has done pretty well this year I think. I want to stick to alt coins that is supported by Exodus though....dont want to have to download another wallet on my phone. Want all of it in one place.

This year? OMG is 3 months old :p

Anyway, to get around your issue (which is similar to mine, I only use Exodus as an offline wallet). I use Bittrex and save my coins on their servers, but all my high value coins (BTC and ETH, etc) goes to Exodus. Just make sure you enable 2FA because with that it means the person wanting to steal your coins from Bittrex needs to have your Bittrex password as well as your Google password

Oh. Sorry. I just saw that it went from nothing to like $13.00 or something. I did not check the scale at the bottom of the graph. Thought it was on a year time frame. Sorry. But even so....it did pretty OK yes? :)
Very! I also hold some :) Check my edit above

Got a letter from my daughters school yesterday, they are starting to accept Bitcoins as payment :O

I hate these Bitcoin threads after selling mine 18 months ago

As dit pap reen moet jy skep. Just managed to ride a R1000+ spread. Made ~R500 in 30 minutes.

And you didn't buy back in? :erm:

Do you know how they say don't invests with money you cannot afford to lose?

Well, that's exactly what I did - I took R20,000.00 and bought 4 coins. However, it was far too volatile for me and over the next few weeks hovered lower than what I bought them for. The minute it got back to R21,000ish I decided to sell and recoup.

Then, after each jump, I kept telling myself its too late to get back in
