Also not sure how relevant this fib is now at around $9440. It was the turning point back in 2013-2015 price action a few times.

^^10k will always be a big resistance point. It all depends on the current appetite for risk. I'm keen to get more BTC now myself. I don't know if we'll see the $7k correction before the next upward push.

Sigh ... we thought the same at 6k - that it was a big resistance.

Will come to $7800, not lower.

In Rands, the cheapest you might manage to get in is around R123 000.

I doubt we've seen the bottom, too easy.
As someone who sweated out the bear market it hasn't seemed easy at all. I agree and expected a larger dump than what we have seen and it does seem too good to be true to just burst through parabolic like we have seen, but that relies on a perspective that sees 20k as an all time high, when in fact it might just be a tiny blip on the way to 100k.

I bought in 2012 I bought in 2016 I sold some in 2017 and I bought again at 3400

Too easy, I have not been hurt, which tells me this can't be the start of the next bull run I can't be that lucky.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAND ITS GONE 'THORMAN' :p

Anyhoo if you are just blindly buying at select intervals the timeframe is short enough that you could be buying and hopefully selling at better than average timeframes.

With such a wild fluctuating asset it is easier to be right than being wrong, for now. :)

3400 buy seems an amazing call when everyone said it was going to 1800 or even 800. Markets tend to be contrary to mass sentiment and everyone has been calling for this to dump way down. The majority have to lose after all.

Granted I had buy orders down to $800 so not a 100% fill, but I manged to get half a BTC at 3400

Put it this way. If bitcoin does, and I think it will, have the 40% correction everyone expects, that will take us to 6800 and people will be loading up at a level twice as expensive as u got in at.

Agreed, but hoping for much lower than 5k I want to buy more before the next bull run.

I thought that too. There is always the possibility that the 100k plus btc bull run never happens though. The fractional reserve banking sector has the means and will to destroy bitcoin at any moment it threatens them. So we could all be buying all the "cheap bitcoin" we like for them to just buy billions worth and crash it into nothing. The utility tokens will surely do well as the tech improves etc but the use case for bitcoin can have the rug pulled out of it the moment the banks feel threatened unless.... In the short term.... it validates itself as a store of value. And it may never recover in the public mind if it flops down again after this rally, wherein it is just again starting to gain credibility. My point is in the big picture we are better off with it breaking new highs in this run than risking it beind written off in a longer and perhaps never ending crypto winter.

Nobody can say. We were at $7500 a week ago and it was chipping away at that as well. Don't think we've seen the end of the bear market looking at the rest of the market. People are looking at the wrong things and either hodling or trading for greed. Bitcoin's true success does not lie in what its monetary value is and indeed the money grabs are hurting it where the lower the price the more successful it will be.

Tether price is down again. Same thing that happened 2 weeks ago when BTC fell $1500.

Ive never deposited ZAR into luno but I have sold BTC and withdrawn ZAR to bank account more than 7 figures always on time the next day , not skip a beat.

1)
Hi John,
Wait , so u have transferred btc to luno in order to rand it out, are you saying 1 million over in rands?

2)
What is the limit for Luno to withdraw, because their site says imits may apply so its very vague .
300k , 500k , i mean what limit, it doesnt really say.

3)
suggestion please, where do u keep the btc before u go to Luno?
offline wallet or other exchange? - asking for advice please

4)
do you have any alt coin suggestions for beginner staking please?

Thanks

1) Yes.
2) No limit if you are fully verified.
3) Have 50% of my stash actively trading between binance (for altcoin fever) and btc on bitmex.
4) I dont pay that much attention to altcoins anymore. On Binance I quite simply just speculate on top20-50 altcoins equally balanced roughly every 1-2 weeks, there is no technical analysis on this I simply do it based on feel when I decide to rebalance since the altcoin market is just to crazy to in depth logically monitor every coin that I just gave up on that. I really just speculate in this market in hopes that I somehow catch one of the altcoins to suddenly skyrocket.

This double-top pattern in the last day does look very similar to the previous one. Watch out for dump.

There's a limit of R5m or R10m on EFT transactions. Not sure exactly how much it is or why.
