This is futures closing their December contracts im sure of it,.

I jumped out at $9.3k (R113k) last night. Didn't expect this surge. Luno was several thousand overpriced too this morning from the FOMO buying so it's difficult to trade.

the number of futures contracts vs actual btc traded is way out for futures to have such an effect..

this was proven when the drop intensified around the last closeout.

Same... Woke up to 120k...

Honestly thought we would be seeing a drop to the high $7k today
 
actually looks like yesterday was the close out,. now with TA showing its a long term buy,. lol all the fuuuutures bois must be climbing in long today,. *** and they speak 'regulation' all the while allowing Futures and CFD's into the crypto space,. A frekking shame,. expect more of the same volatility as long as they are included :/
 
nightmare trading at this pace tho,. *** *** *** getting the right 'maker' price, heishhhh,. going in smaller bits than larger chunks me thinks
 
Although might be the case it only gets to 10k over the weekend....
need the muricanos to pump up the vol today if its going to happen sooner..

I thought we would go below $9k again after bouncing back off $9.3k a couple times. Also with the Rand strengthening I expected a further drop on Luno.

Woke up at 5am this morning to my BTC alarms and saw the R115k wall fall. I also didn't get back in then because the USD price was at $9.6k which shouldn't have translated into a ZAR price of much more than R116k.
 
$9.5k broke easily so I suspect we will go all the way to $9k which means sub R110k on Luno. Maybe more if there is an overreaction.
