Go look at any chart for anything. Price goes up, people take profit, it goes down.

It's Luno with low liquidity. Price should have never dropped below R260k. The site was frozen for me when it dropped (don't trade there but I pop in to check what the ZAR price is) so think people couldn't trade and place orders for a short while to stop the drop.

thumbsucked the 19k finger and not the 20k finger but thumbsucked well nevertheless - and drop came as expected. The fun continues.

Those that bought the 20k top last time did not hold to come out at breakeven - they eventually sold at a loss - and this time round there will be new top buyers and boy will their livers and intestines be tested & churned around like a locomotive.

Down to $16K to $17K briefly is still a healthy correction. If things go too parabolic from euphoric retail buyers going fomo like in 2017 then we'll see a bigger crash with a longer recovery period, with institutional investors raking up all the cheap BTC.
