What is it with XRP and newcomers to crypto? XRP delusion is like a right of passage.

My brother got into crypto early Jan 2023. I told him to buy Bitcoin and Solana when Solana was $16. So he went and bought R100K of XRP at around $40. Missed out on an 8X+ move.

XRP fan boys are all very salty now.
XRP is brilliant ... as a transmission mechanism, not a storage mechanism

When you're new the sticker price misleads.

Yes indeed it is.

But crypto price is not really driven mainly by fundamentals. It follows investor sentiment which is mostly influenced by whatever the crypto media's hot narratives are.

One correction which by all means is normal is way to early to call something like the end of a bullrun.

Also if you dont sell it doesnt matter. However if you did panic and sell welcome to the world of crypto enjoy the school fees

1btc yesterday is still 1 btc today

My crypto took a massive R4k tumbling last night. But I don't care, it can keep tumbling, dont care, Im in it for the long run, in the end BTC will be $100k. And we are going to be smiling all the way to retirement

The drop last night was just over 4%. This really is nothing in terms of long-term holding in crypto - in fact, only worth watching the charts often is that this was a chance to add a small amount.. Now the price has recovered more that half that amount.

Whilst everybody was in a panic, I had a week old LTC "buy trade" set at $72 which executed during yesterdays dip. Was a pleasant surprise

What's is the cheapest and best way to move funds to Binance? I moved some earlier using VALR and XRP, when the funds hit Binance +R700 value was lost. It seems VALR is quoting a higher ZAR conversion rate then the market.

What are the USDT costs like? At least with USDT when it lands on Binance you don't need to change it to something else before trading (I'm assuming you want to buy alts) - you can jump straight into a USDT trading pair.

Very nice little trade in ETH this morning after the drop last night.
Yes, what an awesome dip to catch. My best quick 12 hour trade in months. Loaded up on ETH at avg cost 3410 and SOL at avg cost 122 on 4x. Sold 3848 and 134.

No risk, no reward!

There's not enough liquidity on local exchanges for USDT. By the time your order is filled, you missed the pump.

If you can plan ahead and set your price then all good. But it hasn't worked for me. I'd rather send the funds via XRP and pay the fees.

It doesn't look that bad does it?
