It's killing my trades.

It shouldn't be, Bitcoin has been relatively stable which is when Alts usually kill it, just look at any altcoin's performance over the last week, you should've been making a killing. And for those who say it's hindsight, I've said this a few times over the last couple of weeks.

It's reaching a point where it has to make a decision soon

Looks like it's struggling to make a break again and the last 48 hours has taken its toll. People will stop FOMO buying with the price flattening out. So I think we are going to go down again soon, maybe even below $8k again this week because people will want to get out of the market fearing sub $7k prices again if we start dropping.

Well it is. There was a rather sizable dump and it barely budged. The only other factor was the Rand going down throughout so on local exchange it barely moved R300.

I've been sitting mostly with cash lately waiting for the next crash my gut tells me should be happening about now only making small trades up or down. Last time I caved in and bought and it went from over $11k to $9k right after.

Well, Rand will probably strengthen a bit today and BTC may fall a bit.

Was this written before it blasted through $9k?

Finally got my Ledger Nano S today ordered from the official store on 5 April. Cost roughly R1150 and then another R240 for I think was customs/ delivery. Think the rand was slightly stronger when I ordered as well, so total roughly R1400 when I see Bitgear has it for R1600 and someone on BidorBuy for R1500. You'd probably get it much quicker locally so atm you may just want to go with that.

You might want to read up on the subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/ regarding all of the issues with updating firmware. Loads have been bricked and others got working through a painstaking process.

So maybe do that BEFORE loading any crypto onto it.

Thanks, will definitely do that. Will also try resetting my device with my keywords before loading any crypto to make sure I wrote everything properly, know how to do it and there's no issues

Yep. Looks like I went to bed 30 mins before the pump. BTC is becoming quite difficult to daytrade now as it just keeps going in one direction (up). Nothing in the charts really said that it was going to climb up another $300 especially since we'd just climbed $2000 in around 10 days without any major correction and was struggling to break $9k convincingly for 2 days.

I'm still in cash and will just look to buy when it is oversold.
