something fishy going on ....2400 odd sell wall at 8580 on bitfinex.

somebody know something about something --- or manipulation by exchange.

Been looking at that for a while now. Normally such things come and go....this one is intent on staying, at lest for now

If lots of people see it falling and went into short positions, I guess it ensures that it doesn't go on an unexpected bull run. Could be removed if it gets there though
 
So Bitmart are dropping S9 antminers at R27k - half the regular price. Beta lightning network gets announced. Something fishy is happening.

I think there's more chance of going down now than up. It also needs to fall hard so that it can go up hard. This sideways movement doesn't induce much trading.

Though I was wrong yesterday morning when I thought we would consolidate at $7800 and drop down further.

Well I'm thinking a mid $8000 then the hard fall

Though I also messed up my signals a bit yesterday

Second push to $8500 and that wall has mysteriously disappeared?
 
15 liquidation’s on Bitmex the last hour with more than $1M. And half of that very close to $2M.

I'm going to sit in cash now unless it runs away and get closer to $10k. Kind of annoying this sudden run upwards. In this bear market after a steady downtrend it hardly spent any time below $8k. Expected more selling and at least some sideways movement below $8k.

I'm sure it's gonna below 8k within the next day for a final tank before the Moon run

It might well go down but it's also bought up quite fast as soon as it dips below $8k. It's done that now 3 times since yesterday morning.

I've got a few buy orders waiting ranging between R90k and R96k. So waiting for a dip to around that zone which is around $7.5k.

Anyway...yup.
Even though I don't trade btc only alts, btc still affects almost everything and this sideways movement the last few months has been tiresome. And yet I still don't really mind it after the huge run-up toward the end of 2017 - still feels like a reasonable cool-off period.

Stay on call.
Might need you in here at any moment.
