6pm was a success i see ----> next stop 9k

nice support being put up at 8800--- good signs for a few days of green.

/looks over shoulder for whale(shark)

I wouldn't mind it bouncing between 8.5k and 9k a few times so that I can do some trading. Moving in one direction only or sideways gets boring.

wasnt the big resistance level --

line in sand as they say is at 9200 - either big rejection there or bust through for bull run.

not trading till decision is made now.
 
overbought now on 1/4/6 hour - should see decent pullback before next attempt above 9k
 
Who here does swing trading where the price is quite stable but the Luno spread is either large or very thin so keeps moving up and down?
 
I see Bitfinex has a network upgrade for 2 hours now so no trading available. Will be interesting to see if anything happens in that time. Seems like some people were unaware of the planned downtime.

I can just see people panicking, thinking they’ve pulled a mtgox.
 
breakout attempt coming up...

also bearish rising wedge..failed breakout could dump this abit

there be dragons on the other side of 9200 it seems...
 
Looks like we might go down a bit more. My guess is around $8.2k - 8.3k then bounce.


Edit: There's also big movement expected with the Rand vs Dollar this week. So that's something to watch out for if trading on Luno.

I think people were expecting a Moodys downgrade to junk on Friday but now analysts are saying it might not happen. So the Rand is getting stronger again vs the Dollar. Though if Moodys does end up downgrading us on Friday the Rand should swing back to weakening again.
