I'm waiting for a bit more of a drop to get back in. Sold at about R110k on Luno because we had come up quite fast from R93k. Didn't expect to hit R113k during the weekend.
 
serious bearish patterns around... rising wedges and bear flags...but btc will always surprise us....wont it?
 
Anyone else having issues with Bitfinex atm? I can't place orders or even see the order book.

It's weird, yeah my tradingview and alarm app seem to link to it properly. Tried remotely connecting to my home pc and accessing it from there and it works so I guess I'll do that

I'm thinking it might be that. I've used it here a lot before today and some things on the page load fine. Oh well, guess I'll just have to go through my home PC like I do to access Youtube here lol.
 
Moodys credit rating decision expected tonight. So there should be a decent movement by the Rand on Monday morning. Especially if the downgrade to junk finally happens.

Probably no downgrade and the recent movement of the Rand reflects that.

Though the bad press worldwide about the land grab issue might have an impact on the decision. There's talk of sanctions in future if apartheid 2.0 unfolds. I've also read that countries rarely ever escape downgrade once put on Moodys watchlist. Can't find that article now.
 
The 24 hour volume on Luno is the lowest I've seen it. Barely over 200BTC. Even for a weekend that is quite low. Seems like people are not too interested in trading in this price range. They either just holding or waiting for a massive drop.

It's not like the price was completely flat too as we went from $8.6k to $9k and then down to $8.4K. So there were profits to be made.

Trend is down. Crypto is so last year.

Yeah, its a horrible time for crypto. From the euphoria of Q2 2017 to this rather depressed state.
