6th is here. Something major always happened on the 6th in the last 6 months except for April where the spike came 6 days later. 666...
Meh, pick a random date and there's always something to find.
Here's the 17th:

Main difference is that the 6th was reversal points from Jan 6th where the price went in one direction for the following month. Basically the highs and lows. Though I'm not trading based off it but it is interesting to note.

The 6th came and went....reversal has been in play since yesterday.

Volume will come....no one wants to be left out.

Next stop $8600....Within the next day or so.

I'm actually thinking down based off this fractal. Also the head and shoulders from my previous post is forming which looks pretty bearish. Will just watch for now.

lol the above 2 posts tell us exactly where we are i.e what the market sentiment is!!! love it!!

it wont be a reversal, dont think anyone is saying its a reversal. ... any move up will be a prolonged bounce. we still heading lower theres no doubt about it

yeah i think people use the world reversal to loosely. an up move within the down trend is not a reversal. so we a long way from a reversal.

Some are bearish....some bullish, both short and long term.

Personally, I don’t see a lower low than 7050, at least not this time around. A reversal does not imply we are suddenly going $15k. It just a reversal of the recent downtrend.

Whether going back up $8k-9k is a reversal or a prolonged bounce is up for debate.

At the end of the day, we all playing the percentages. BTC will do what BTC does!

And we all here to make money....irrespective of which direction it’s going!

I just want to know where the bearish steam is going to keep coming from. Not many dumps are profit taking at this point. The volume is dwindling daily. For people to rationally sell btc at these levels they need to have bought it lower and well....basically the thing is oversold. A bearish continuation at this point is purely emotional.

You could say the same thing for the previous time. People still sold there at low levels and it was even worse back then because the moves were around twice as big. The volatility and volume has dropped over time but I think we should still have the same people/whales/bots in the market behaving in a similar way as a whole.

This is just a pattern I spotted though. If it starts climbing with steady volume for at least 15 minutes (not just once off spike), I will get in with some and go all in if it breaks $7800.

Yes, but eventually those with incentive to sell will run out. This is the cycle of markets. Sure some whales could dump at these prices to spite themselves, but that just reeks of motives other than interest in making money. The volume and doldrum price action shows that the bear move is ending. Any other opinion is purely subjective and emotional.

You sound a bit emotional about this there. The volume for the last drop was also lower than it used to be before that. Also if we run out of sellers we can also run out of buyers to push the price up. Everything you say can be looked at from the other angle.

After the last drop what happened ? People bought, price rose, people sold. Profit. I am bemused at people who remain forever bearish or bullish. The volume and lack of volatility suggests the bearish trend is done. If it doesn't please explain the reason to continue to exist of this market ?

I don't think you're looking at things objectively. The price can't move on it's own. It needs buyers and sellers. Plenty of people had to have bought above 9k for it to get close to 10k. Plenty of people had to have sold below 8k for it to get to 7k. Some will make profits and others losses and the market will continue to exist. It's technically impossible for everyone to make profits unless the market cap keeps growing, either with new money or if BTC becomes more sought after for some new reason. Even then, you will still get people who make losses (sell for a loss).

And no, I'm not a perma bear/bull. Just playing the moves as they come. Case in point, I just made a quick 1% profit on this move up in the last hour.
