Yeah the Rand is mooning. Sucks because now there's probably not going to be any cheap BTC on Luno. Rand is up 10% since early April BTC lows. So we should be closer to a R90k BTC price on Luno now instead of over R100k.

Quite annoying waiting for the BTC price to go down but the constant Rand weakening keeps it pushing it up. The effect it has had on the Luno price is create uncertainty and reduce the volatility because it moved in the opposite direction of the USD BTC price in the last month.

BTC is slowly making it's way down. First level expected to be tested is around $7460. It's also a fairly important next few days. From what's happened a few times in the past, the low should be on a line parallel to the the lower highs in the next few days. So if we go down less steeply, the pink parallel lines can be shifted to be more horizontal.

There is more reasoning on the low point apart from the fractal. The low points seem to be on the line parallel to the drop, drawn from the start of the last wave up before the drop.

South Africans were among investors from around the world who lost money in an alleged Internet trading scam that operated for more than two years from a massive call centre in the Philippines.

Complaints by victims led police to raid the call centre on Wednesday and arrest 482 employees.

The Manila Times reported that those arrested were “operators and occupants of the International Branding Development Marketing Inc.”

The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) said that potential victims were convinced to invest stocks in a fake London company or Bitcoin. The suspects then obtained credit card and banking information from their victims.

One of the victims‚ Australian Jan Theresa Bedggood‚ said she had invested $250 but was later asked for an additional $10‚000. When she opted not to‚ the suspects emptied her accounts.

(PNP-ACG) director superintendent Marni Marcos said that the arrests stemmed from reports and complaints from Australia and South Africa.

Video footage posted by CNN Philippines on Twitter showed police enter the massive call centre‚ which had about 1‚000 employees spread across three buildings‚ with a search warrant.

Some of the victims travelled from South Africa to lay complaints with police in the Philippines

Somebody tell bartcoin it’s not Monday yet

Yeah plus this happening on a Sunday is not a good sign for the week. Most people don't trade on the weekends so there might be more carnage lined up for the next few days.

Two support areas fell with barely any resistance. Also an extra 1.5 days of sideways movement but it's back in the channel again. Hard for it to drop more so fast though. So think it might find some support/resistance on that orange line which was fairly important in the recent blue shaded area.

Was just thinking about what's gonna happen if there's the usual Sunday night / monday price drop. Could be seeing that $6700 - $6800'ish price range.

One good thing about this move is that the upperbound is now clearly defined. So if/when it approaches and breaks through that higher orange line, there should be a nice green spike for some easy money.

^^^ I'm anticipating a lot more support before a move down to $6200.

Strong support on prevous low (green line).
Support on top of channel (red line).

That was an epic red candle.
Orders filled at $6700. Now to stop-loss that shiz and see what the morning brings.
Damn...that was crazy.

Better than an action movie.

Now to cheeky limit-sell order at +10% or cover my ass at -5%.
Ugh - wanna sit up and see what happens.
That was pretty damn cool to see.
