Lunation New Moon

Looks like next Moon is December 7, confirmed.

Tether getting a royal screwing again so numbers not so good.

I'd be surprised if there's ever a decent recovery from this.
There's volatility... and then there's catching fire and crashing through the 200 days average like a bear on fire even though there's no technical reason for it.
I don't think anyone still standing in this bloodbath would have the balls now to chase fake bulls, and fake they'll be.

Indeed... it'll never be $10 again, its dead:whistling:

I have a dream - that one day, naysayers and soothsayers will stand side by side in one harmony analyzing technical charts ... I am of the humble opinion this baby called BTC was overhyped and now its just getting its true value. People usually knock that which they dont understand. Years down the line people will remember this month and regret not buying or selling.

The current panic feels like the opposite to last year December's euphoria. Then everybody was buying, because Bitcoin was just going UP all the time! Woohoo!!!

Now, everybody is selling, because BTC is just going DOWN all the time! AAaarrgghh!!!

In the mean time, Bitcoin as a technology has just improved. Segwit adoption increased, Lightning Network is expanding at quite a rate, as well as channels being funded. So Bitcoin is even better value now than it was last December.

So if you buy now, you are buying something that is much improved since last December, at a massive discount. Sounds like a real bargain to me..

I am still buying into dips bit by bit, averaging down. I believe in Bitcoin long-term and expanding my portfolio. Both BTC and some select Alts.

Agree 100% with you

I'm tempted to take a chance on this drop getting into the low $3000's ... Would be nice to accumulate some coin. I haven't done anything so far to take advantage of it.

I will throw my hat in , too early to rebuy do not do it and definitely dont buy or sell based on "taking a chance" as a reason. If you trade with that philosophy consider straight up casino gambling it would suite you better. :)

Looking at my own indicators if there is a slow recovery we wont be back in a good buy zone any time this November so those who managed to get out before the bloodbath could have a stress free November and possibly even December assuming the trend does not slow down and reverse.

Tiny peak at own technicals all combined into a clutterfree chart compared to some of the wildwest charts you might see from other traders.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is the bounce point to $5300. Let's see. The pattern is what's called a descending broadening wedge.

Was away from the internet today in the bush for a teambuilding. So I couldn't trade the madness. Quite some carnage and a lot lower than I expected we'd go. I'm still holding. Volatility is back so there will be plenty of opportunity to trade in the coming days.

The price also broke out of a triangle from $4450 which coincides with the support of the pattern. So $4450 should be a very strong support level.

Erm... no technical reason?

Actually not. There was a drop same time last year (though not as pronounced). I know as I had just made the comment of a nice BlackFriday special coming. Then the opposite happened and it took off shortly after that.

Made about 27% in BTC since this started but still down 10% in fiat.

A nice moon with the Rand weakening would be welcome right about now.

Similar situation here. Main thing is to have patience and not sell too early when the bullish wave starts. Look at Feb, April and July. It just kept going up for weeks once it turned. I sold too early in Feb (at $9k after the bounce from $6k) thinking it wouldn't go up much more. A couple weeks later it was $11.5k. Similarly for April and July. This time I'm going to ride the waves up as far as possible.

Any indication if we have bounced up for good or is this just a slight uptick before the last leg down.
