Trying to help a friend create a Luno account and for some reason on the Sign Up screen the 'Sign Up' button is disabled - even after I've filled in all the details. Anyone had that issue before or know what I can do about this?

The only pattern I find reliable currently is the ascending wedges. Flattish top and higher lows over at least a few hours. You can see them sort of forming after making a higher low. So after the 3rd hit at the top, I just crank up the leverage a bit and place a buy somewhere in those red bubbles.

For the bigger wedges over several days, can wait it out a while to see how far up it goes. Safer to take profit after a few % from the smaller ones. Pattern seems to work most of the time even if looking back months. My revised trading strategy is to wait for these patterns and then go with bigger/riskier trades. Otherwise I'm just range trading with smaller amounts.

If we had crypto in the 1930s great recession I can assure you the vast majority of people would have jumped on board leaving the banking system entirely. People in generally are too forgiving even when the system keeps failing them time and time again.

Sure but crypto comes with its own challenges. Many of us have gotten burned as well so it's not something I'd trust for everyday banking. Maybe in future if somebody comes up with another implementation that is more reliant to hacking, fraud, lost keys, etc.

Nope. You sure everything is filled correctly and there's no weird formatting? Make sure the password has 8 characters, numbers, upper- and lower case letters.
 
Volume on the breakout was very low. So not many buyers at around $12k currently. Will probably keep falling unless the market makers can keep it in the area and make a pattern similar to this:

There is some fib support at around $11350/11400 so it could bounce there again but will probably be a small bounce.

Nice dump. Made a decent bit on shorts. Had the small bounce at $11400 but couldn't hold the level.

tried to use payfast again to buy something on takealot. Seems they've removed the address and only show the QR code now. So I'm not sure how to pay using my ledger now

Shortsighted online shops that want to force their apps on us.
 
It seems that luno no longer charges bitcoin and ethereum receiving fees, am I reading that correctly? Anyone done a transfer in recently and can confirm that?

yeah I think they want you to make a payment using Luno but I'm still not sure how to do that with Payfast. I guess using luno is the only way to protect themselves from someone making a payment and setting the fee too low since they like to confirm immediately.

Haven't heard about that but there have been cases I weren't charged a sending fee when sending my whole balance.

Nope. I am still being charged for sending tho.

Checked my deposit history at luno, never had any receiving fee only sending fee.

Welp, bitcoin is b0rked or something.

I send 3hrs ago a btc transaction with higher fee than even the current 1-2block fee requirements suggests and it still havn't after 16 blocks even seen 1 confirmation.

This is why BTC is nothing more than nice trading coin and store of value'ish :P

Anyone relying on it to do any transactions should just shoot themself hahaha.

Paid $15 fee at 3pm and still not a single confirmation on my transfer in over 4hrs.

Gotta luv the future of money :P
 
Think there is a little bit of panic. After this drop back to $10k twice, people must be trying to load their BTC onto exchanges to look for a good selling opportunity. So network must be overloaded.

Luno took R53 of the R150 I tried to send 10 days ago.
