There is also this upwards channel now and it's been hitting the upper resistance several times. Eventually this will have to give way. If it was very bearish we should not be getting close to or touching that upper resistance at all by now. Seems like there's about 3 days max now before something big has to happen.

Still hitting the upper resistance today to the exact dollar. Pretty crazy how it sticks to it over and over.

Okay then... flash pump and dump it is.

I think if it manages to stay above $7420 danger zone today then it's ready to keep going up. It survived the first danger zone yesterday morning. It can still wick below but must go back above immediately to be safe. There should be some volatility later today as it gets closer.

I feel a bounce coming!

It has been rather odd that it seems someone is trying to keep it in the 7 -7.5k range

Yeah it's a glitch. Been checking the buy orders and it would take 100's of BTC to even move it a few k right now. The timescale for that "dip" also doesn't look right and is impossible.

Maybe they're frontrunning the rest of the market.

Times like these I look at how easily and sharply bitcoin fails, and I just chuckle thinking some people call it a 'store of value'.

We can argue long and hard about what that means, but just at the minute it's a total farce.

Reasons for bitcoin to go up? Zero.

But we've been here before, and somehow bitcoin just keeps trending up in the long-term.

Who knows.

BTC seems to be getting more and more stable as time goes on. I'm going to dabble with ETH trading now on Bitmex as it's been about twice as volatile over the last year so there is more opportunity to profit from trading. Maybe will eventually switch fully to ETH trading instead of BTC.

BTC vs ETH:

BTC still seems pretty unstable to me if you count the fast dips. For some reason I think it can still yield good returns for traders as if it's relatively stable but there's a big dip of $1k you can be near sure it will return to where it was before.

Good luck with ETH, the trading fees on bitmex is daylight robbery on that pair.
