gave up on valr when they wanted bone tissue in addition to ID. Was looking at funding Binance again however last time it was a quick costly affair and thought i should find a better cheaper way. But by all indication the stated way is about as good as it gets
Is Luno not the way?

Thought there was a better (read cheaper) way but yea - Luno is the way. My first mistake was to make that instant conversion instead of using the exchange.

every dump so far got nullified within hours, a day at most ... the nett result of your "two dumps"?

The issue is the 3 dumps in a week being there at all. Something we haven't seen lately. That should tell you the cracks are beginning to form. And last night's trading looked remarkably like the old pattern of trying to create a red closing candle. Now if your "investors" were in charge why would they need to do that?

it's volatile, it "seems" to do a lot of things, fact remains it went from 319k on 17 Dec to over 600k in less than a month

anything over 600k right now is hardly a dump, wake me up when it's under 400k
I thought it was said to be less volatile? Instead it looks to me to be getting more volatile and is being manipulated more than ever.

I don't know what the issue is there. I just uploaded an ID pic and was done. Didn't even have to do a selfie.

I just recall having issues as I was one of the first to try it out. Think some folks on here also So I gave up and stuck with Luno. Recently revisited bitmex and I see now they too want you to verify your ID. Looks like alot has changed.

75%+ dumps were quite common before, now not so much, that is less volatile
3 10% dumps in a week. That's not less volatile, if anything it's more volatile the last month. And we've had 85% not too long ago. Your issue is how you see the dumps but they are spaced quite good apart so their intervals aren't getting less.

Key for me is to see if and how quickly it recovers

it is actually less volatile than the norm, not sure why you pretend otherwise, "last month" isn't a timeframe to base anything on, talk to me about Dec 2017/Jan 2018 and tell me Jan 2021 is somehow as volatile ...

when extreme volatility turns into high volatility it is actually LESS volatile, that doesn't mean it is not volatile, it means it is less volatile than before, which it irrefutably is

Not sure where to put this. I have a Luno account for a while but the website is extremely slow and pages don't load at all. eg. I can't see the depth chart or go to my wallet. I am verified and have used the older version of the site extensively in the past.

I am using google chrome and just did a fresh Windows install last week on my PC. Is there maybe some software that the Luno site needs now to make it run? I experience the same issue on my work laptop so not sure what is going on. Pages are just loading forever.

It's not you, I also find it very slow and laggy, I usually find a page refresh wakes it up a bit, but then I have to reload indicators which is annoying.

Yes it's definitely less volatile than 2017's run to the previous ATH. We had an over 30% crash in September '17 and recovered quickly and then had a few more 25% dips before the December ATH. More regular 10% dips are much better for a bull season continuation than a few 25% crashes. That's exactly what less volatile looks like. 10% dips have always been nothing out of the ordinary for BTC.

The weekly RSI has been over 90 for 3 weeks and is still on 94 which is insane. All indicators show that BTC should have dumped a week or 2 ago, but the demand for BTC is just too high and there haven't been enough sellers. It is very possible that we can bounce back and hit $50K.

It's so pathetically slow. Can't even go to my wallet to make a deposit.

How do people even use this website at all anymore?

What norm? It's not. Your issue is you are only comparing certain time periods against each other and not getting an overall picture. As Bitcoin has increased in value the spikes have simply gotten bigger in value to make up for the percentage, they haven't gotten smaller or decreased in frequency.

Does this look like less volatile?
It seems to be reaching a constant rather.
