11 of the most popular ones is heading into more than just a handful territory surely ... and those are native pairs, not pairs that do a double trade in the background like some others do (e.g. ZAR to BTC to something else)

If there is some sort of crash in the US stock market, then take a shot at some Ethereum and Solana once off.

Grayscale wins their case against the sec. Btc pumping along with other macro news which points to a weaker dollar.

not really that big a win, the SEC was basically just ordered to reconsider it's position, the outcome is still up to the SEC:

If you buy a ledger wallet

Before transfering your coins to it , get to know how it works , and how to recover the wallet via the seed phrase , ie transfer a little dust to the wallet wipe the wallet 3 times wrong pin will auto wipe

Recover wallet with seed phrase , if you have access to the the dust again then you know you got this and won't lose access to coins as long as you have safe copy of seed


Keep i mind , if someone gets your seed phrase they have access to your coins the same way you could recover your wallet

If using a paper wallet generator use it only on an offline pc often scammers plant compromised software that phones home with the wallets generated, ie i would not use any paper wallet generators

The phone wallets can be recovered the same way as the ledger hardware wallet

Never use any wallets that have been setup before you received them
 
Coins don't reside on any device
Just thought to clarify, as we all talk about sending coins to a wallet , it is just how we talk about it explaining the keys etc people get lost in the woods

What resides on a wallet is the key, so anybody that has the key has the coins

And whoever has the seed can recover key

ie you can recover a ledger seed phrase on a new ledger wallet if you lose yours or can even recover on a phone wallet

The weakest link with a ledger is the paper backup seed

If you lose the ledger and the seed phrase

There is simply no way to get access to your coins ever again

There is no bank manager you can call to say reset my password

Hence why it is important to know how to recover a wallet

ie lets say you wrote down the seed phrase wrong

And lose the wallet if you can't sus out where you made the mistake you can't get the wallet recovered

But by doing a test run you know you have it right

Keeping a copy in a different location is a good idea

ie if the house burns down containing the wallet and the backup seed phrase same result no coins

Unless you have the phrase memorized

Edit: don't try and do a recovery with meaningful amounts on a wallet, some day you may have to but if it is your first time do it with dust the last thing you want is to find that you don't got it with all of your coins
