Perhaps. As for me, I'm loving my 50GB and virtually unlimited on-net calls for R149pmLast year's Black Friday was meh. The Rand was under pressure back then.
I'm looking for a karcher k5 washer
Ditto! Streaming music in the car, setting up a hotspot for my laptop, streaming netflix, supersport, and even the occasional large download if my broadband connection struggles. Never came close to using it all.Perhaps. As for me, I'm loving my 50GB and virtually unlimited on-net calls for R149pm
You are welcome to unsubscribe from the thread. The idea isn't to moan about life (there are threads for that), it is simply to share the deals we are / become aware of. If the deals don't appeal to you, don't take them up.One 50gb deal don't a Black Friday make. It's the only deal mentioned on this thread and was only offered because Mtn had extra capacity and as said unlikely to be repeated.
Sorry not a fan of SAs mock Friday
All I remember is people moaning about about non delivery, delayed delivery no stock not being able to buy or holding at number 2987 in the telephonic queue and endless courier delivery problems topped by lackluster Xmas spending
Now with the recession ( yes very many of us have less spending money than last year) and yet another hefty diesel or petrol price increase next month I am pessimistic there won't be the same problems as last year but with fewer bargains
Hope I'm wrong but for too long we consumers have bent over and held our ankles when it comes to retailers in SA

I heard a rumour about half-price Xboxes.
Don't wanna go that way though, its like a drug dealer giving away half-price needles. He still wins.
