Black ops 2 certain maps freezing ps3

does anyone know why my CoD Black ops 2 freezes on certain maps in multiplayer online? Someone please try and help me out

What is the model of ps3?
How old is the console?
Does your console freeze while playing other games?

There's actually quite a few maps that freeze
These are the maps that work:
Slums, hijacked, nuke town, carrier, cargo, standoff

Its a ps3 slimline
Its about 3yrs old
Console does not freeze while playing other games

PS3 freze if your netowkr connection is unstable...happens in GTAV online as well
