Black Tuesday (22nd)

I was around V/A Waterfront mall(s) and I swear, I could count the people wearing black shirts, maybe 3-4 at best.

Granted I didn't wear any black either...The point is no one seems to care, walking around Cape Town CBD and everything is dandy, no protests this side.

Pathetic, the Government wins again. First Telkom now this? Taxes are next on the agenda, prepare for a hike. ****.

See my signature.

Well what little (very little I must admit) hope I had has just been flattened - The begining of the end and the poorer will be poorer and the criminals will prosper without fear of being caught. And the poor will keep voting for these idiots because they know even less of the corruption and self enritchment.

This truly sucks - and now watch the implications on the markets etc. Dumb A$$'s they are fVcking up whatever small chance we had to being a better country!!

What did wearing black accomplish?
Nothing at all. Bill still passed.
So with the exception of wearing black, what will the public really do to fight against the powers that be?

But what did all the good men do? Wear black... that must have had them terrified.
What are people going to do about it? What are people going to do really fight?
Because wearing black did nothing.

Words cannot describe the hatred I have for the ANC. As I have said before, they are a bunch of corrupt, arrogant close minded fools with over inflated opinions of themselves.

I truely hope that the idiots out there who blindly voted for the ANC in the past and did not have the insight to see past their lies will now see the true face of their government and vote accordingly come next election.

If everybody just kept quiet about apartheid nothing would have happend. It all starts with a conversation and people that believe wearing black is a sign of support.

What do you propose we do. Bomb Lootfreely? Hire a Sniper? What is that going to do. Yes the good men wore black. The rest are cowards that complain over a cup of coffee to their pets.

Sadly, I doubt that they will.

As Ghoti said, this is a huge test for the Constitutional Court.

Let's see how independent it really is.

So big mouth what did you do to stop this? Your solution is to pick up arms? Who are you going to fight? The little old black lady walking down the street that is your "swart gevaar" because she voted ANC because she didn't know better? C'mon get real already. This will now go to concourt and after that we will have to see.

The people that did dress in black showed solidarity towards a common goal regardless of gender, race or creed. That is more than I can say for the apathetic souls like yourself. I may not have been much but it was something.

That.

No you fool. But wearing black doesn't get anything done. Sure its a banner to gather under. But once under there, what next?
You don't need violence to get your message across. But the public and media do have the ability to do something. What about media houses removing the ANC from the national discourse. Reporting stories without ever mentioning the ANC and those pigs that fill their ranks. Use their titles and not their names or political parties.

Just one idea.

Your first reaction is to mention race. Interesting....

... it was symbolic...

You didnt think that people wearing black would magically change everything did you? /facepalm

When Black Wednesday happened during Apartheid it didnt stop the censorship there believe it or not... but the symbol carried through history.

Maybe you should go read up on what Black wednesday stands for. Playing the poster not the post. Nice. Class act.

LOL.. You were quicker. Thanx. :)

So you attack back, yet offer nothing in terms of fighting against it. What hope do you think you have against, an infinity corrupt political party, with infinite funds and zero concern for the common man. Sure, as I said. A banner to gather under is great. Every cause should have a banner. But what next? What will all these people do to stop this from happening. People and groups can be ignored. Fly your colours high, but if you can't have a common goal and a common plan of action, its pointless. So go right ahead. Attack me. But I ask again. So whats next? What will people do next to over come this?
