Cape Town - MPs voted in favour of the protection of state information bill (POIB) on Tuesday.

A total of 259 yes votes were received, with 41 no votes and 32 abstentions.

The bill came before the National Assembly in Cape Town, as protests against the bill took place in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and the Mother City.

I was around V/A Waterfront mall(s) and I swear, I could count the people wearing black shirts, maybe 3-4 at best.

Granted I didn't wear any black either...The point is no one seems to care, walking around Cape Town CBD and everything is dandy, no protests this side.

Pathetic, the Government wins again. First Telkom now this? Taxes are next on the agenda, prepare for a hike. ****.
