Blackberry Bold 9700 questions

so I just moved over to Blackberry... rather weird coming from SE!

after struggling with the bluetooth, getting my gmail up and running, figuring out all the options I have a last question maybe someone here can help me with

when a txt comes through, obviously I got the audio alert, but the LED light also flashes briefly.

Is there any way I can further configure this LED light to do what I want it to do?

ie. keep flashing until the txt is read (it stops after a while, which I think is daft!)

any further tips ideas with this phone, would be greatly appreciated

It should keep flashing till the message is read (well my Bold 9000 does). Perhaps someone with a 9700 can confirm this behaviour? Look at the www.crackberry.com store there are apps that can customise the led (don't know if they'll do what you want).

Mine generally keeps flashing until the message is read. Sometimes it seems to stop on its own, but not usually.

It flashes but not forever, I think there's a limit to how long it'll flash. Don't think you can change that...

I bought an app called BerryBuzz that customizes the LED and actually makes them different colours for different alerts. $5..
