I have a vodacom blackberry bolt on package which claims "free unlimited on device browsing" yet I'm still being charged for "internet" on my itemised statement. Is this happening to anyone else?

I have just noticed a couple vlive charges - I think you warned of those in another thread - but thats the only inconsistency.

No I only use the internet browser, not the vlive browser and I am still getting charged. Vodacom told me to contact my service provider (nashua mobile), will see how that goes tomorrow.

Does not sound right for both of you, maybe PM me some details and I can have it checked out.

But first check for me if you're using the BlackBerry Browser.

AFAIK, the Internet Browser will use the internet APN and the VLive Browser, the VLive APN. You want to stay on the BB Browser.

I'm on BIS and I have "browser" and "vodafone live!". I use the one titled "browser". In my browser Under options->broswer configuration -> browser, you can set the options for either the "internet browser" or "vodafone live!". I haven't come across the "blackberry browser" anywhere. Any ideas?

I just looked on my Bold and that were the options. Which model do you use?

Just did some research online and discovered that BIS users get the internet browser while the blackberry browser is for BES.

I use the Blackberry Browser ver 4.5 (Opera isnt all its cracked up to be) and with that the "Internet Browser" configuration - I cant recall the last time I used the "Vodafone Live" config.
