Hey guys

Anyone here managed to get the Blackberry Connect software working on the Nokia E90? I have the email side working, but the web browsing side refuses. I have updated the software, but everytime i try browse using the Blackberry2 APN it comes back with a "Gateway no reply" error.

I've been looking on the web, but everything i can find only applies to overseas networks like O2 and Airtel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as I know, Blackberry Connect only supports E-mail and not web browsing.

From vodacom.co.za:
BlackBerry Connect is the convenient email solution that works with non-BlackBerry devices like Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

I have an E90 with firmware version 300.34.84 and BB Connect running on it.
The BB Connect software only allows for email traffic as the E90 does not have a BB browser.

Long story short , email will work via the Blackberry & Blackberry2 APN but web browsing will go via the "internet" or "mymtn" APN or the compatible Vodacom "internet" APN depending on your carrier.

See this link for more info -> http://www.blackberryforums.com/bla...e/140424-blackberry-internet-service-e90.html

For the full on BB service via Vodacom , I use my MTN issued 8900 Curve with my Vodacom sim in it , I have NOT debranded my 8900 Curve as yet as it works fine as it is.

Instead of the Vodafone live icon , it displays the MTN icon but still browses Vodafone live.

PM me if you want more information.
