Sounds great, I think I might get this with my next upgrade in December.

At first this sounds like a great deal. I saw adverts today from a national chain that touts unlimited BB internet with this phone. But it has no 3G, so what good is the unlimited internet - who in their right minds is going to surf at GPRS speeds ? Save the money and buy a real 3G phone. But it has it's place - for people not interested in the internet, I guess it is a great deal.

Got mine last week, a true palm fan this has stolen my heart. Very similiar to the old treo 680 layout, except the apps arent so plenty yet. The battery is not so great though, ill have to buy a second one for long trips. The mail function (what this phone is all about) is WOW....getting my mails before they arrive on my pc!!!
As im out and about everyday this is the best deal you can get for a business phone.
Crappy camera? ,no radio, who gives a damn, get a Sony then, but not with the same ease of operation.

Yip, BIS is deathly slow. But if that isn't important to you and you just want to be able to email from your phone this is a great deal.

I saw a video on youtube, say no to 8520, apparently the resolution for browsing the wb is very bad, I would prefer to see a live unit before I order one myself.

It's not that bad, most phones in this price range have the same resolution. I've seen one and it's quite good (obviously Bold and 8900 are better though)
