BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.3?

The Desktop Manager is just the software for the PC, the firmware updates are something seperate (although delivered via the desktop software).

I'll put a copy of the latest firmware for the 8310 on the CD for you as well. My clients have got the BB working as a modem on the default firmware, but I'll include it if you want to give it a bash.

That is the latest Vodacom firmware you are putting on the disc right?
As i think there are some newer fw versions out there but with other operator branding etc.

I have v4.2.2.146 (Platform 2.5.016) - it come with the phone and i have not upgraded yet.

MrSmith...
I am sending you 4.2.2.154

Bwana...
I don't have anything later than what is listed on our website. I asked about 4.3 today (seeing as how RIM have put the new feature docs on their public knowledge base already) and I got told that 4.3 is still in beta and not ready for the public. RIM believe the device likely to recieve the 4.3 treatment first will be the 8110.

BlackBerry is the way ... convert and be saved ;)
I will wait for an HSPA Blackberry model, and then a while longer till RIM gets past the battery life hurdle that will no doubt plague HSPA models - it could take a while to get me hooked on Crackberry...

Fuel cells anyone ?

Anyway, you all play nice ya hear ....
I'm going to be on leave tomorrow with a little something something to take care of and I'll be away from my laptop for most of the day. V3G will email me on my BB if he can't help you :D

Thats what they all say . . . . :D

Seriously - if I could figure out how to stop the forum from forcing mobi down my throat I'd probably be living on the thing. :)

Sounds exactly the same as my damagement style really...

I prefer surrounding myself with ppl who have a clue and know whats going on.
