Blackberry on Cell C ControlChat

Was thinking of getting a Blackberry on Cell C deal...

Is cell C any good? A friend has told me that their reception is cr@p.

Anyone know of any good Blackberry deals - I want something on top up, not a contract.

8520 Curve Deals - looking for the best at a cheap price on top up no contracts:

Vodacom has R189 on topup 135 - no free sms', incl. BIS and R135 airtime
Cell C has R150 on controlchat 150 - R175 airtime, 100 free sms' , BIS is R57 that comes out of your airtime
Not sure about MTN but I've heard their network service is really not that good
Apparently virgin mobile does not offer Blackberry.
8ta has no top up deal just that other contract for R90 (first three months) and R139 after that, free minutes only to Telkom/8ta, 15 min to other networks, 500mb youtube data, incl BIS

any other ideas?

I'd go for Cell C. Plenty of airtime and SMS's and BIS included. Also, on a non-3G phone, I doubt your video streaming consumption would be that high to warrant an extra 500MB of data per month (8ta deal). also, you could always use some airtime as data or buy a 100MB bundle for R50 if you're really into streaming youtube on EDGE.

Are you on cell c - how is their service?

Yup. On a normal contract though not top-up. BES services have been good so far, no downtime like Voda recently experienced. 95% of the time during the month its on 3G - but I work and live in Sandton.
