It should,if the device supports gprs or edge just manually set-up the internet settings Cell C Settings if the *147*1# ussd doesn't have settings for the phone

Cell C does not support Blackberry.Change your network to Vodacom or MTN.
When you move to Vodacom or MTN you have to activate the BIS service which cost you R59 pm.The R59pm is for unlimited data, browsing, email, facebook, twitter, etc.

Please note only Vodacom offers the blackberry service to PREPAID CUSTOMERS.
Also only use the Blackberry browser on you BB for unlimited browsing and NOT Vodafone OR MTN.

Yes you can, just go to settings, under TCP/IP it will ask for an APN, put in Cell-C's APN for internet access (like virgin=vdata, vodacom=internet, mtn=mymtn etc etc)

and save and go on. It will browse fine and apps can connect to internet. Obviously not blackberry services will work though.

I was with cell c for years, not that bad. Moved to MTN with my company phone, worst service ever.

I must disagree, iv been on mtn for a few years now and I have not had any problems with them at all. In fact, MTN even went out of their way to help solve my problem. My blackberry got messed up and had to send it in for repairs. It takes them around 4 - 6 weeks to replace the phone. I told them that I cannot wait that long without a blackberry. Now my dads contract was due for an upgrade in April next year. I spoke to the manager at mtn and explained my situation and he allowed me to upgrade my dads contract now (premature upgrade, 5 months before next upgrade) and get a new blackberry phone while mine was in repairs. Tbh, i think thats terrific service, now im using the new blackberry while i await to get mine back from repairs :p

Cell C does work on blackberry for R57 p/m. Cheaper than all the others and works well

Good Day lee@bee

try this step, if no luck please PM me with details and ill assist further.

Cell C Mobile Data & MMS Information.

To receive the settings automatically use the USSD command on your phone *147# and call.
You will receive 2 SMS’s containing the relevant settings. Please save/install them and set as default.
If you are prompted for a PIN use 1234

Manual Settings

I.P. Address: 196.31.116.250

P.S please note that most apps like that wont work, Due to Restricted APN.
