Blackberry & Outlook

Good day,

I am at 76% probability going to get a blackberry 8900.
One major question, my email is on my laptop and runs through Microsoft Outlook 07. I do not have a microsoft exchanger server, I have a pop3 Mweb account.

My question is, if i download, read and reply to e-mails on my blackberry, will this reflect back on my PC after a sync? ie. Will my Microsoft outlook on my PC show the Inbox with the mail received and my sent box reflect the mail sent?

There is away that it can be done via desktop redirector, but then it means your laptop has to be on the net 24/7. This wa it will be like a mirror image of your outlook mail only.

Or you can go bis setup and setup the email when sending email that it bcc yourself to get the mail in your inbox, but this setup requires filters and a little bit of research on how to do it. This way no emails will be marked as read when reading on the phone.

I often use the desktop redirector and it works a charm. But as mentioned above, outlook needs to be running and online for this to work.

Put a forwarder on your Mweb (remember to keep a copy in Mweb) account to a Gmail account. Then add Gmail account to BB.
