BlackBerry problems remain (12 October 2011)

The pathetic handling of the situation from RIM seems to have shed a silver lining on Vodacom for their approach, when it came to network issues faced recently.

This is the price of data over encrypted servers. If you needed that for your business then this is the price you pay.
If you are just a civilian though and never needed such a feature, well then you are just dumb. ;)

I don't use a BB but this is starting to annoy everyone seeing as so many people are dependant on BB for communication, we are as well to some extent even if we don't use one...

Well I hav opermini and snaptu on my BB so I can facebook and twitter.. And check my emails with Gmail app... Plus with a service book hack I can use my bb browser...its not free uses airtime but it works....

Well I'm surprised! I became so heavily dependant for my email etc for my job and sending data and communicating with coworkers and family etc via bbm. My blackberry did all that for me. Since Monday Ive had so much time on my hands. I even had a 15 minute discussion with the wife in bed last night using actual spoken word. First time since I got my Bold in 2009! Thanks RIM.

Second that, some people were forced to personally interact with other human beings or die of boredom lol

It affects us non BB users too. I communicate with my wife and 2 daughters (all 3 BB) via Whatsapp normally. Now I have to use SMS which has a cost. /sigh...
Hope it gets fixed soon.
