Blackberry Torch on MTN

I think end next week towards the end of this month. The Torch stock around this country is pretty limited at the moment. Be patient...its worth the wait...this phone is awesome!!
 
currently using an iPhone 3G myself... was thinking about getting a Torch. Have seen a few reviews on Youtube and to be honest, the Torch really does look awesome!!
 
I was a bit worried about the touch screen, with previous SurePress technology being so shaity, but the touch screen on this baby is superb and quick. even the touch screen keyboard is flawless in my opinion
 
I don't mind waiting for it. I'm not going to take anything else. I just dont see why Vodacom has released the Torch to their clients but MTN haven't even received any stock yet.
 
MTN are advertsing the Torch but they do not have stock... wtf

Hey I called MTN Direct and they dont even have it on thier list.....How do u pre order this phone as a upgrade from them

Dont hold your breath from Vodacom - I went in to Vodacom on Monday to order mine. And guess what? No stock.... he said they should have by mid week, but i have very little faith in anything a Vodacom salesman tells me.

We already received stock as apposed to MTN....but we got a limited quatity, so the stores that did receive ran out very quickly. We are expecting the next shipment on the 15th due to delay in flight arrival.

I was looking at the phone as it was booting up and I cant remember it showing Vodacom/Vodafone log. The default wallpaper is of a beach scene...not a Vodacom/Vodafone logo. I cant speak for other shipments of phones that might be coming in. Remember it ships with the new OS6....so there might have been a delay in getting the Branding on there. The later shipments might have it. Why?

Just trying to figure out how I can get MTN to get me one.
