Although there’s little glory in bronze, BlackBerry and Microsoft are battling for third position in the smartphone market

I've know several people with Z10's already. None of my friends and co-workers have Windows Phones. At the lower end BIS is an issue, but not for most; not any more. At Cell C data prices throttled BIS makes no sense any more. I foresee that BlackBerry will remain strong in SA. They might lose their top spot to Samsung (I expect) ... but there is a lot of BlackBerry fans in SA; plenty loyalty to still be a force to reckon with.

Agree, especially the middle age+ and older folk - they understand BB and are averse to change. I see it in the corporate environment - lots of new iphones, some Blackberry (mostly the older and/or technologically handicapped folk), scattered Galaxy S4s (no other Androids) ...and no Windows phones whatsoever.

WP is really easy to grasp and very user friendly, it wouldn't be difficult for them to adapt to it
